CBS NEWS Even before their deaths, the Justice Department had asked the U.S. Supreme Court to order Texas officials to stop blocking Border Patrol agents from the large public park near the border used to process the asylum claims of migrants. PBS State troopers closed off the park to federal agents last week at the request of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott. CBS NEWS The mayor of Eagle Pass says the state closed that park without his permission.
