          In an important ruling, U.S. District Judge James Moody issued a permanent injunction against Arkansas’ law prohibiting gender-affirming care. The state is expected to appeal to the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, setting up a potential hearing in the US Supreme Court. Similar laws in Florida, Alabama and Indiana have been temporarily enjoined while challenges to the laws are resolved.
