(U.S. Dist. Ct., N.D. Cal.) – Federal District Chief Judge Vaughn Walker has issued an order denying Prop 8 supporters’ request to stay the district court’s judgment that Proposition 8 violated the constitutional rights of same-sex couples. Judge Walker did impose a limited stay of the judgment until the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals decides whether to issue its own stay, however.
